There is no contact form here on purpose. A form would mean either a third-party script watching what you type or a database of stored messages, and this site runs neither. An address you can see is also one you can verify.

[email protected]Reporting a link that failed
This is the most common reason people write. A report we can act on includes:
- The full post link, exactly as you pasted it. Without it there is nothing to test.
- The message the downloader showed, word for word. Each message points to a different cause.
- Whether the post is public. Open it in a private browser window without signing in. If it does not load there, it is not public, and that is usually the answer.
- Your browser and device, for example “Safari on iPhone” or “Chrome on Windows”.
- What you expected to happen instead.
Before writing, check the FAQ and the quick-start guide. Most failures turn out to be a private post, a profile link pasted instead of a post link, or results that need running again.
What we cannot help with
So you do not wait for a reply that cannot fix the problem:
- Your Threads or Instagram account. We are not Meta and have no access to accounts, posts or moderation decisions.
- Private or follower-only posts. Keeping them out of reach is deliberate, not a bug.
- Deleted posts. Once a post is gone from Meta there is nothing left to fetch, and we keep no copies.
- Copies hosted elsewhere. We store no media, so there is nothing on our servers to remove. Report the copy to the site hosting it.
- Higher rate limits. The limit of 30 lookups a minute keeps the service available for everyone, and there are no exceptions.
Never send us
Passwords, session cookies, login codes, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information. Threads Downloader will never ask for your Threads or Instagram credentials, and any message that does is not from us.
What to expect
Every message is read. Bug reports that include a link and the exact error are looked at first, because those are the ones we can fix. Complete copyright and privacy requests always get a direct answer. We will not promise a response time we cannot keep, and email is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
