What this service is

Threads Downloader takes a link to a public post on Threads or Instagram, reads the media that post contains, and passes it to you. It is a convenience layer over publicly accessible content. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms, Threads or Instagram in any way.

Acceptable use

By using this site you agree not to:

  • attempt to access private, follower-only, age-restricted or otherwise non-public content;
  • use automated scripts to submit lookups in bulk, or work around rate limits;
  • use the download proxy as a general-purpose proxy for unrelated traffic;
  • redistribute, republish or commercially exploit someone else's media without their permission;
  • use the service for anything unlawful where you are.

Lookups are rate limited per network address. Sustained abuse may be blocked without notice.

Copyright

Every video and photo you download through this site belongs to whoever created it. Nothing here transfers any right to you. Downloading a public post to watch offline is generally accepted personal use; reposting it as your own, or using it to promote something, generally is not.

You are responsible for what you do with a file once you have it, and for knowing the copyright rules that apply in your jurisdiction. If you hold rights in content and want to report a specific public post, use the Contact pageand include the exact post URL and a concise explanation of your relationship to the work.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for any purpose. It depends on undocumented behaviour of Meta's own websites, which can change at any time and occasionally does — when that happens, lookups fail until it is fixed.

To the maximum extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including lost data, lost time, or anything you do with a downloaded file.
